On behalf of a leading insurance group in Saudi Arabia we are seeking anAdministration and Support Services Managerto be based in Riyadh. To develop, secure approval and manage the implementation of Administration strategies, policies and procedures that ensure organisation has the necessary physical assets in place to realise its strategic objectives in the short, medium and longer term as per its expansion plans.
Role description
Strategy Formulation
Contributes to the development and refining of the vision and strategy for the company, and contributes to the overall process of management and corporate decision making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium and long term goals
Department Management
Leads the Administration department, providing leadership, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards. Lliaises with internal and external parties as necessary to support and bolster flow of business. Exercises financial authority to the level delegated by the top management.
Government Relations
Ensure formulation and implementation of sound Government Relations policies, and efficient liaison processes with related Government departments, etc. that result in speedy and efficient processing of relevant services for the company.
Develop strong and sustainable relationships with government officials to facilitate the conduct of smooth processing of the company needs.
Branch Expansion
Contributes and upon approval implements the branch concept from layout to signage as per the image that the Company wants to promote to the market.
Ensures that engineering designs are aligned with the functionality of branch (or other asset created) and that all company services are supported appropriately.
Ensures that the appropriate tendering and contractor selection process exists as to ensure that the company receives the maximum benefits for the optimal costs.
Procurement
Guide the evaluation of suppliers performance in collaboration with the relevant Procurement staff and develop formalities for inclusion on, or deletion from the master bidders list.
Supervise and control the bidding process in order to ensure it is in line with the Companys procurement policies and procedures.
Safety and Security
To develop and ensure implementation of safety and security plans for the protection of company personnel and assets
Approves Safety and Security plans designed for the protection of company personnel and assets and ensures effective implementation.
Services
Ensures that there is general satisfaction from all stakeholders with internallyprovided support services, takes upon action on complaints, identifies sources of dissatisfaction and takes corrective actions
Definesstandards levels, and ensures the quality of support services provided by outside contractors, such as catering, cleaning and equipment maintenance is of highest possible level
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS
University degree V preferablyV in Engineering
Minimum Experience
5 years progressive experience with a multinational organization preferably with multiple geographies
Job-Specific Skills
Strong organizational, leadership, human relations and managerial skills and good knowledge of English
