Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design overview, monitoring, expediting and coordination of the AE's architectural and interior design works, in accordance with schedules, and international and local design standards.
- Responsible for ensuring the AE's architects and interior designers carry out the necessary design coordination with other design disciplines and other design teams.
- Responsible for architectural and interior design productivity analysis and verification, monitoring, and expediting design activities, attending AE Design Coordination meetings, and constructability studies and analysis, and related cost and time comparisons in relation to architectural and interior works for each of the separate design packages.
- Participate in AE value engineering workshops (if any), constructability studies and analysis, and related cost and time comparisons in relation to architectural and interior works for each of the separate design packages.
- Oversee AE implementation of design quality assurance program, architectural and interior design interfacing, and checks on completeness on tender documentation.
- Ensure that the conduct detailed evaluation of architectural and interior drawings and supporting calculations for design perimeters have been considered and due attention has been given to local special or unique design conditions
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Architectural
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Advanced computer skills especially in MS Excel and Power Point
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages
