Position prerequisites
As a CEO, you will advance this organization to a new level of excellence and achievement in the provision of high quality retail services. Working with skilled employee groups, you will provide inspirational leadership balancing the internal and external demands of this role you will be a visible presence within the organization and be recognized externally as a courageous leader of conviction and the organisation brand name in the community. Conversant with the operating metrics of a large and sophisticated retail organisation, you will be accountable for company's financial resources and a champion of innovation in the organization.
Position's objective
The Chief Executive Officer will provide leadership, direction and coordinate all activities of the company in accordance with the goals and objectives of the organisation to safeguard and grow the assets of the organisation for future generations while providing sound returns to current owners.

Taking a proactive role in the formulation of future strategic objectives and bringing them to the Board for input, discussion and decision as to ratification. .
Ensuring that strong strategic and annual planning processes are in place to produce effective plans for approval by the Board. .
Ensuring that all financial and non financial reporting requirements are met on a timely and regular basis. .
Ensuring that reporting to the Board is always totally 'transparent' and on a 'no surprises basis.
Management
Strategic plan in coordination with Senior Management, Vice Presidents and other related staffs. .
Business plan for each unit.
Operational Management
Ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the organization are effectively and efficiently co-ordinate and implemented and conducted within the framework agreed to by the Board.
Implement stringent project management processes to ensure the timely and cost effective development of the key projects undertaken by the Organization. .
Maintaining effective working relationships with the Chairman and broader board. .
Finance
Preparation of budget for approval by the Board of Directors in Mid December each year.
Reporting against budget monthly to the directors, explaining any variations and defining actions to be taken if budgets not met.
Review increases profitability of the business and ensure the adequacy and soundness of the company's financial structure reviewing all capital expenditure requests and arrangements for additional finance-funds.
Business Development
National and international - developing network of stores and developing markets in new regionscountries
Attracting new customers through various channels.
Product portfolio - Adding new products and business line in the existing product line.
Merger and Acquisitions - Horizontal and verticals to add value to the shareholders wealth as well as brining operational efficiency and effectiPersonal attributes
To qualify, you will need a successful track record of running an efficient and profitable operation, growing retail sales, minimum 15 years management experience of which the last 5 years must be in the retail industry, preferably in a grocery goods retail environment. Your key focus is to grow profitable sales and build a strong brand in and outside the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsible for hiring talents, training, managing human capital and developing a professional team and lead by example. You should be at least of 35 years of age and possess a university degree preferably MBA in Business Administration, having strong analytical skills with fluency in Arabic and English.
