Our client, a global technology leader offering diversified solution and services, is currently seeking a Field Engineer to be based in their offices located in Dubai. Reporting to theSections Manager you would be responsible for the organizing, scheduling and controlling in terms of quality and timing all the equipment installed in the projectThe other job responsibilities would include

and61472Verifying the proper preparation and accessibility of the predispositionsbrackets, embedding pipes ,box etc ) make from the Civil work team as show onthe approved construction drawings
and61472Checking with the Sub Contractor and check the equipments list to be taken fromStorage areas
and61472Checking in agreement with the customer, the place where temporary storage theEquipments
and61472Verifying that the Sub Contractor has the appropriate Permit Work for the involvedarea
and61472Verifying that the Sub Contractor has the appropriate installation drawings with theMHI stamp valid for construction
and61472Verifying that the Sub Contractor has the appropriate tools for equipment installationand that all workers involved wear the prescribed protections.
and61472Assuring that the equipments are installed following the directions given in theMethod Statement - Installation Procedure and in the related position indicated inthe construction drawings
and61472Preparing the daily and weekly work progress, including material used andinstallation quantities and collect the Subcontractor daily work report
and61472Reporting any site problem immediately to the Section Manager
and61472Providing the necessary information to update the design drawings after installation
and61472Verifying at work on the completion that the area of work is left clean, without waste, and that the empty drums are returned where indicated
The successful candidate should be a Engineering graduate with at least 5-10 years of working experience in the same field or in a similar multicultural environment. He should have the experience of handling all the activities related to the testing, commissioning and start-up stages. He should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
