Our client, a global technology leader offering diversified solution and services, is currently seeking a Testing and Commissioning Manager to be based in their offices located in Dubai. Reporting to theOperations Manager you would be responsible for the management and coordination of all the activities and the resources (mainly technical) allocated to the Project for the testing, commissioning and start-up stages.The other job responsibilities would include

and61472Correcting management of all testing activities, ensuring the predefined results on timeand within budget and with expected level of Quality.
and61472Compliance of the technical documentation for the commissioning to the contractspecifications and check that the documentation is available and applicable for thecommissioning stage of each stand-alone system. Specifically ensuring that thetechnical documentation is applicable to the integration among the several systemsof the Project and provide adequate amendments if and when required atdocumentation level.
and61472Availability on site of all the equipment and materials (belonging to systems and needfor ensuring integration) in due time.
and61472Evaluating, in due time, and request of needed commissioning resources (quality andquantity wise).
and61472Presence of skilled Commissioning and testing teams in order to fulfil the activity withfull respect of Time and Quality.
and61472Ensuring that a Level 3 schedule for the commissioning activities is prepared beforethe commissioning activities based upon plant requirements and Client overallschedule.
and61472Ensuring availability of all approved Acceptance Procedure and application of allAcceptance Procedures for the Commissioning of the Network.
and61472Ensuring availability of all documents relevant to acceptance tests (Test Reports andResults) done before delivery in Dubai.
and61472Ensuring availability of adequate instrumentation (with valid calibration certificates,records and updating) and tools for performing the Tests described in the relevantTesting and Commissioning and Start-up procedures.
and61472Ensuring availability of commissioning spare parts for each system as defined by theEngineering Documentation.
and61472Ensuring proper and correct completion of installation activity for each stand-alonesystem according to Installation Procedure and Standard.
and61472Verifying that the installed SystemsDevices are ready to proceed to commissioningconsidering also the QAQC and HSE requirements.
and61472Ensuring proper acceptance and handover of installed systemequipment,materials, facilities and complementary works by other Contractors.
and61472Mobilizing on time (with due notice) and daily coordination of manpower requiredfor the several commissioning stages.
and61472Implementing all the technical actions received by Integration Manager
and61472Integrating, technically interfacing and functionality of all subsystems (external andinternal) on the field, in cooperation with Integration Manager and Technical InterfaceManager
and61472Management of meetings, as necessary, between Client and different contractors forcoordination and for the start up of the COM systems taking also into considerationthe HSE requirements.
and61472Collecting all adequate documentation duly signed by Client for the Provisional acceptance of terms.
and61472Notifying the Client on the completion of the commissioning of each system or partthereof for their further action.
and61472Definition, daily follow-up and closure of Punch Items lists (to be recorded in anappropriate Project Database).
and61472Resolving all problems identified and raised during the testing and commissioningPhases
and61472Controlling that the Punch Items and Lists are properly managed in order to clear allsiteThe successful candidate should be a Engineering graduate with at least 5-10 years of working experience in the same field or in a similar multicultural environment. He should have the experience of handling all the activities related to the testing, commissioning and start-up stages. He should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
