Our client, a global technology leader offering diversified solution and services, is currently seeking a Construction Manager to be based in their offices located in Dubai. Reporting to theOperations Manager you would be responsible for organizing, scheduling and controlling in terms of quality and timing all on site installation activities of the project in Dubai.The other job responsibilities involved would be

and61472Managing the Construction and Installation Activities, ensuring the predefinedresults on time and within budget and with expected level of Quality.
and61472Managing the installation methods which have been defined by the Engineeringteam.
and61472Definition (or Enhancement) of the Construction Plan for COM Systems and OCS.
and61472Identifying and recruiting the resources to be appointed for the installation works inthe various project areas.
and61472Ensuring that a Level 3 schedule for the construction activities is prepared beforethe installation activities commence based upon plant requirements and Clientoverall schedule.
and61472Organizing the on-site works including logistics for accessing to the sites andsubmission of requests for Permits to Work as required.
and61472Liaisoning with client's Construction Manager, attending meetings and representingThe company on all matters concerning installation.
and61472Providing accurate and contemporary reports from site regarding progress andcompletion of the Works, including the progress report information to ensure timelyand accurate reporting of site progress to other parts of the organisation.
and61472Ensuring timely delivery of all necessary records including Test Reports, as-builtdrawings and schedules to the Testing and Commissioning Manager.
and61472Ensuring that all staff under his control are given access to and abide by the safetyrules and regulations of the projects assigned.
and61472Achieving completion of the Works.
The successful candidate should be a Engineering graduate with at least 5-10 years of working experience in the same field or in a similar multicultural environment. He should have the experience of handling all the construction related activities from the beginning till the completion of the project. He should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
