Supportinginternal systems and perform hardware troubleshooting and repair on desktop and laptop equipment
Supportingsoftware suites and networking environment
Providinghigh level support to network users for office automation applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, e-mail and other productivity software
Interactingwith users by means of telephone conversations and face to face in order to provide optimal solutions in accordance with business requirements and Corporate ICT Policies
Resolvingapplication and user support problems
Working with other groups to resolve system and network issues
Respondingto information requests
Troubleshootingsoftware problems
Installing and providing second level support for all hardware, operating, systems and network operating systems in accordance with Corporate ICT Policies
Set up PC's
Loadingmemory and software programs
Workingwith users to provide overall support for PC hardware and software
Answeringand loggingincoming calls as and when required
Maintaininguser documentation, procedures and libraries for installed products whilst adhering to Corporate ICT Policies
Monitoringand trackingfixes and upgrades for PC's
Providing initial hardware support and follow procedure for involving a third party as and when required
Notifying users on the progress of outstanding calls
Operatingas an integral part to the EMEA ICT Team
To qualify for this role, you must have in depth knowledge to the following
Microsoft Windows XPVista Operating System

Knowledge of IT Procedures and policies
Basic Networking skills (TCPIP - DHCP, WINS, DNS,Wireless, LANWAN troubleshooting)
