A global, broad-based health care company in the Middle East is seeking to hire a skilledIT Manager to be based in their offices in Dubai. Reporting to theRegional IT Manager you would be mainly managing the Shared Service IT Department and ensuring adherence with Corporate Policies and oversee MIS Support for Gulf and LevantYour main job responsibilities would include

Managing good relationships between different supported Divisions
Conducting IT Steering Committee Meetings
Developing and managing technology budget along with monitoring and approving related expenditures
Reviewing and approving IT cost expenditures
Ensuring the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization
Ensuring networks, workstations, operating systems and software applications are operationalEnsuring hardware and software is patched andor updated and also ensuring all communication circuits are operational in conjunction with Corporate Network Team
Developing and maintaining local standards and local procedures manual and also developing and maintaining related technology checklists. Managing the infrastructure and the Data Center
Familiarizing with Policies from Corporate IT, Division IT, Area IT and other functional areas if appropriate
Managingco-ordinating projects and delivering on project deliverables, leading to the successful completion of small to mid-sized IT related projects
Understanding and applying standard project management methods and tools to ensure project delivery on time, within scope and on budget
Communicating and co-ordinating with 3rd party solution providers, Regional IT resources, Area IT resources, Finance Director and Area IT Director on matters relating to IT project
Interacting with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner
Ensuring Service Levels are adequate
Working with business and IT management to establish project goals, objectives and deliverables
Analyzing technology requirements and developing functional specifications
Being responsible for supporting (Analysis, Designing, fire-fighting, operations, etc.) the AS400 applications used by the business.
To qualify for this role you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum experience of 3 years experience in MIS environment or 6 years of relevant experience within the IT industry. You should also possess good knowledge of Project Management, AS400, SharePoint Services, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Operating Systems. You should also have good communication and interpersonal skills.
