Our client, an established building materials company based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a qualifiedHead of AuditCompliance to join the team. You will be responsible for conducting compliance checks and audits to monitor implementation of key processes as approved by the Board of Directors and to coordinate with the BOD and assist in developing audit policies and procedures and audit programs and its related activities.In addition, your responsibilities will include
Preparing compliance audit programs based on inputs from the BOD
Conducting compliance audit programs for the company and its factories to ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and standards applied in the UAE
Ensuring documentation control and maintaining comprehensive compliance assurance logs available for review and auditing by any competent or authorized person
Preparing reports on all compliance programs being conducted, their results and recommendations and providing relevant input to the BOD
Responding to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct by recommending the initiation of investigative procedures to the BOD
Issuing Corrective Action Requests (CAR) to the BOD
Making recommendations to the Board of Directors on compliance evaluations and on the need to modify, add, or delete compliance and audit programs
Co-ordinating with the Executive Management team to review possible inputs for the developmentenhancement of the existing processes
Performing other duties as assigned by Board of Directors.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with qualification in CIA and 10 years senior audit experience, preferebly from Big 4 audit firm.Experience of HQ corporate structure with diverse subsidiaries is also essential to this role.To qualify for this role, you will have good knowledge of relevant federal and local laws, policies regulations and ordinances, application of measuring and evaluating performance of listed companies affairs, corporate governance, risk management, compliance and industrialmanufacturing environment appreciation.You will have great attention to detail and bring best practices to the organisation.If you are proficient in Arabic technical writing and proficient in computers, apply today!
