Reporting to the Group Controller, hands on role, managing the consolidations of the various entities in the Middle East and Africa Region. The managers in those business units will have a dotted line into you.
Ability to consolidate the group financials, good knowledge of IFRS reporting, analyse the figures and take corrective action on numbers reported.
Good knowledge of looking at financial statement, analysing variances and challenging the numbers.
Must have experience looking at a balance sheet for a distribution business.
Good basic understanding of accounts preparation, debits, credits, recievables, collections, cash forecast management, control of cash, PandL Analysis.
Must have a good sense of humour, ability to learn from mistakes (not a yes person).
