Our client, is a leading mining, construction and services contractor with diverse operations throughout Australia and selected international markets is seeking to recruit Project Accountant
.Your duties will include
Oversee the AP function and procurement function
Raise purchase orders, raising sub contracts, correct orders go out to suppliers, matching invoices to deliveries and purchase orders, inputting supplier details into JD Edwards
Oversee the AR function
Timely billing of debtors, ensuring payment is received, managing stock payments, keeping debtors to agreed payment terms
Monthly Management Reporting
Cost data recorded accurately
Raise accruals
Reporting project performance (comparing actuals to budget
Variance Analysis
Forecasting
Working with the project managers to help them with forcasting and budgeting
General Admin of the Project
To qualify for this role, you must possess the following5 - 10 years experience
Degree qualified (ideal but not essential)
Knowledge or JD Edwards or another large ERP system
Drivers license and Car
