Our client, a world leader in healthcare, lifestyle and lighting is seeking to recruit Technical SupportEngineerto be based in Dubai reporting to the Technical Support Supervisor. You will To provide technical and administrative support to channel partners across the Middle East and North AfricaYour duties will include but not limited to

To support all distribution networks - locally and regionally on all technical aspect of the product range

Handle and follow up customer sales and service enquiries received.

Provide product application support in response to customer requests.

Maintain liaison with sales representatives and keep them up-to-date with developments, advising of new customer opportunities and complaints.

Receive and respond to all technical enquiries coming into the organisation via phone, fax and through the distributor website.

Prepare comprehensive tenders covering product requirements and pricing.

Provide product application, technical and commercial assistance to distributors and customers.

Provide technical support (commissioning) information to distributor technical staff on new products and technical procedures.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge

Advanced Electronic certificate or engineering degree
Knowledge of low current systems
Knowledge of home automation systems
Knowledge and experience in lighting control systems
2 years experience in local market
Skills

Clear thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Self starter, able to work in a team environment or autonomously
Ability to manage hisher own time and work without supervision
KEY CHALLENGES

Efficient time management
Ongoing changes to customer requirements even after material delivery
Technical faults with products after installation
