Our client is a rapidly expanding electricity and transmission company based in Muscat. They have an exciting vacancy for Head of Asset Management.

Scope of the role:

Assets Information and Standards Section:
Rules and Management of Assets databases and assets data
Management of specification and standards
Customer technical support
Connection agreements management
Responsibility for GIS data
Management and support right of ways, corridors for new OHL, cables and grid station locations
Participate in site acceptance tests, factory acceptance tests with co-ordination of Projects Department

Assets Performance Section:
Collect, organise and anaylse asset performance data and give run, repair and refurbish decisions in co-ordination with the Transmission Department
Analyse impact of asset failure on network performance, OandM costs and determine capital replacement options and costs
Develop and maintain maintenance policies and strategies with co-ordination of Transmission Department
Participate in tenders and new equipments approval (test criteria, inspection and factory test) and advise spare part requirements
Develop and implement long-term assets strategies

The successful candidate will have significant experience of working in a similar role within the Power sector.
