Accountabilities
• Simultaneous and multiple project leadership
• Obtain quotations and write Capex applications for all projects
• Negotiation and authorized signatory of contracts involving purchasing / procurement, order placement, tracking and invoice processing for payment.
• Budget management to ensure all targets are achieved for capital, expense, asset write off and accruals
• Compilation of feasibility studies, capital expenditure proposals and financial justification of projects in conjunction with site requirements
• Co-ordination of in-house project teams comprising all stakeholders as applicable
• Design, research and technical development of equipment in conjunction with suppliers, R and D and Central engineering / MOS
• Manage projects and contractors to ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety act and AIB regulations
• Daily contact with superior/ peers
• Guiding team in daily and weekly decisions making and prioritizing
• Manages his own department expenses including headcount.
Measures
• The person has to have analytical abilities to resolve project related issues
• Graduate Engineer with a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Having worked in a FMCG environment before, within the projects department
• Managerial Experience is essential
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance software
• Knowledge of safety procedures in an FMCG is essential
