Purpose of the Job
•Lead and direct the management of the Asset management department to ensure that my client meets its required level of service, as stipulated in the concession agreement in an cost effective manner through the creation, acquisition, operation, maintenance, rehabilitation and disposal of assets.

• Define and develop the Asset Management strategy for the organisation that supports and enables the achievement of overall objectives of the organizations
• Contribute to the preparation of the Asset Management functional budgets and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon
• Organizational leadership: Provide leadership and support to the management in developing, integrating and implementing Asset Management Strategies and plans that improve productivity, maximise employee and Organisational effectiveness, ensuring consistency and alignment with my clients goals and objectives
• Functional Leadership: Ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through the leadership of the Asset Management department - setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximise subordinate and departmental performance
• Obtain approvals from my client
. Leadership Team and Board of Directors on all Asset Management Polices for the organization
• Direct the development and oversee the implementation of Asset management policies covering all areas of the Assets activities so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to the organization
• Ensure that the procedures for equipment, construction, operations, protection and maintenance are in line with the standards and specifications as per my clients policies and procedures
• Define an optimum organisation structure for the Asset Management function so that resources are optimally utilised and communication can take place in an efficient manner
• Contribute towards developing policy on risk management for my clients plants and network assets, aimed at preventing or dealing effectively with potential risks
• Provide recommendations and advice on potential risks or problems that could affect my clients plants and network assets, especially in the long run
• Maintain effective business relationships and network of communication with key external parties connected with asset management to maximise efficiency and maintenance of networks at minimum costs
• Develop the appropriate KPI's to monitor the performance of the transmission and distribution system, and establish a process to maintain the data for tracking performance.

• Holds an Engineering Degree,MBA Degree is preferred
• Minimum 15 years of Asset Management and planning experience with at least 10 years in a management position
• People Management skills
• Good communication in English and Arabic
• An understanding of the regulatory, financial, commercial and technological drivers of the management of waste water assets
• Possesses a robust understanding of asset management principles, the development of asset management plans and strategic development principles in the management of assets
• Good knowledge of asset life cycle management processes.
