Our client is a UAE based Solar Power Organisation with a strong focus on Middle Eastern and Northern African energy requirements.

They have a strong design team which are constantly striving towards brilliance and hold a reputable name because of their achievements and successes.

They are also known for their installation of Turnkey Photovoltaic power system and provides services for installation of solar hot water systems and solar powered lighting products.

Recently they have been appointed a major project and are in need of a Senior Photovoltaic Design Engineer .

The successful candidate will ideally have the following:

-Be working within a solar specialist and hold at least 10-15 years experience in solar PV design

-Have in depth knowledge of best practices, standards and methodology of PV system design

-Prepare PV system designs, including wiring diagrams, drawings, and bill of materials

-Inspect completed field installations for errors and omissions

-Produce feasibility studies, quotations and budgetary prices

-Coordinate with out sourced engineering consultants for structural and electrical issues

-Keep up to date with current solar technologies and trends

-Review potential new alternative energy technologies for technical and marketability issues
