Our client is looking to employ a Finance Manager to do the following:
To manage the Financial Management, Accounting, Project Costing, Purchasing, Payroll and Stores functions within agreed budgetary limits so that the company and individual may benefit through the employees ability to attain optimum performance growth.
The Division is responsible for:
•Ensuring compliance with all Generally Accepted Accounting Practices and local regulatory provisions.
•Providing timeous, accurate and reliable financial information to all the Petroserv divisions.
•Implementing and maintaining systems and procedures to provide meaningful information upon which strategic business decisions can be based and which contribute to process of continual improvement and increased efficiency.
•Providing a centralized procurement service that ensures `on time, best price` availability of goods and services required for the successful execution of the company`s business.
•Accurately recording actual project expenditure and providing operational management with reliable information, particularly in respect of variances against the approved project budget.
•Assisting in the development of key business indicators of managing the business.
In order to apply for this role it is essential that you have the following:
Post Graduate qualification in Accounting.
Minimum of 5 yearssenior management experience, preferably in the Middle East construction industry
Preferably 10 years Financial Management experience at an appropriate level.
Sound knowledge of Qatar and International Reporting Standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Practice.
Sound knowledge of computer systems.
