MEP PROJECT MANAGER - BUILDING SERVICES, CONSTRUCTION
ABU DHABI, UAE

My client, a leading construction company, has a requirement for an MEP Project Manager based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The project is building services related and involves several high rise towers. As this is a contracting company the position will be site based and will require a solid technical background.

Candidates are required to have the following skills / experience:

• Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Bachelors Degree (BEng), with experience/knowledge of building construction, design, finance and management required.
• Chartered status preferred and a member of CIBSE, ASHRAE, IEE etc
• Sound experience as a site-based Project Manager from a contracting background
• UAE/GCC experience preferred, however, consideration to exceptional candidates without this experience may be considered
• Preference for candidates with knowledge of local standards and certifications
• Experienced in a range of major MEP multi-disciplined construction projects, building facility management works and fitting out schemes e.g. airports, hospitals, hotels, residential, high-buildings,education establishments etc
• Strong English language skills
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• IT proficient in MS packages is a pre-requisite but the ability to use AutoCAD and Primavera is desirable.
