You will be responsible for

" Effective liaison with external project manager and contractor
" Design of new project components
" Design adjustmentof existing project components
" Technical specification of new project components
" Management of design team and assistance in recruitment
" Management of submittals and approvals processes to support supervision team
" Managing and resolving contractor's technical queries/issues arising from his design and execution of the works
" Liaison with public service providers as electrical utilities and road authorities

An international consulting firm working on the airport project in Oman are looking for an Power Electrical Engineer to be engaged in the design and follow-up team for Equipment and Utilities (EandU) under the Civil discipline.To be a part of the team you are required to be

" Degree qualified - minimum requirement of first degree in Power Electrical Engineering
" Minimum of 10 years experience as design engineer in HV and MV power distribution similar to those noted above
" Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
" Excellent coordination skills
" Understanding of international design standards
" Very experienced in design and commissioning of:
-HV power installations
- MV power installations
- Power Management Systems (PMS)
- Large scale backup power systems (diesel generator plants)
- 0.415 kV power distribution systems

" IT proficiency in particular with relevant MS Office software
