Our client, a high profilecompany is currently seeking to recruitOperations Engineer

A member of the Operations Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Applications, Systems, and Systems elements that represent the hosted infrastructure.You will be responsible for the processes and procedures to ensure that the hosted services run at peak performance and within all documented Service Levels.

Key Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

Ensure all department processes and procedures are followed explicitly.
Responsible to manage activities to meet all Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Responsible to ensure all scheduled reports are generated and delivered to management as directed.
Uses prescribed monitoring tools, processes, and procedures to monitormanage all services.
Performs documented manual monitoring activities on assigned servers to ensure that the serverapplication is performing at peak performance.
Uses prescribed ticket management tools, processes, and procedures to manage workflow as required.
Responsible to receive and initiate customer calls in the course of managing customer issues.
Utilizes Knowledgebase (KBase) to perform all problem solving activities.
• Provides KBase resolution suggestions

Performs all maintenancemigration activities as scheduledassigned by management.Follows all maintenance processprocedure activities per the documented maintenance process.
Participating in project activities will be required on an as needed basis.
Manages relationship with outsourced hosting facility
Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned by upper management.
TechnicalEducational Requirements

MCSE preferred
BS, CS, MIS or related degree or related experience
2-5+ years technical experience with IT Services in an enterprise production environment required.
Excellent communication and team skills required (involving robust change management, production documentation, and team problem solving)
Experience should encompass demonstrated knowledge of the following
• Active Directory
• PCI Compliance
• Windows 2008 ServerAdvanced Server
• Exchange 20032007
• Sharepoint 2.03.0
• Internet Information Server (IIS 7)
• Knowledge of TCPIP troubleshooting tools like NSLOOKUP, TELNET, ICMP, etc.
• Use of trouble ticket systems (Remedy, RightNow, etc)
• Microsoft Cluster Services
• Storage Management
• Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007
