Our client is trading in high and medium voltage electrical equipment and water distribution equipment to the utility companies based in Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit aMechanical Engineerto ensure the clients of the mechanical requirements are met and assist in the preparation of concept and management of mechanical specification.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to -Proposals, bids, quotation requests for new and existing customers and follow up on these quotes to increase sales
Develop engineered solutions to customer requirements and overcome problems as well as develop sales plans and targets and maintain report data for daily, monthly and annual business levels
Collect and manage market data ton increase sales and product development and account management for business counterparts
Provide complete range of mechanical piping engineering with conduct and perform audit checks of work carried out for the clients whenever is required
Carryout the accurate technical specification evaluation of various types of pipes and pipe fittings, pipe supports, valves, etc, in conformance with client's requirement
Review data and update technical pre-qualifications requirements to ensure conformity to technical specification
Monitor and reply to queries raise by clients to ensure proper coordination and subjected to convene tender deadlines as per pre-qualification data
Coordinate with client, consultant and principals to ensure the success of the company's relationship with all parties.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with licensure would be an added advantage as well as additional certificates earned form sales, training, and recognized works would be an added advantage, 5-8 years work experience is required related to water distribution and transmission and waste water product, pipes and fittings. Able to identify and resolve complex issues and manage pressure relative to tender, pre-qualification, inquiry, research with organize, systematic and confident in working their own initiative. Understanding of international codes, practices and standards and general knowledge of other discipline as well as understanding of local laws and practice is required. Excellent written and oral communication skill in Arabic and English and computer literacy are essential. A Valid driver license is the must.
