MISSION
The Finishing Engineer is responsible for all the technical issues related to design and conformity to design, during the construction phase for the finishing works.
Performing under the Lead Architect' s supervision.

2 - LINE AND STAFF RELATIONS

The Finishing Engineer reports to the Lead Engineer.
The Finishing Engineer may supervise assistant architects, assistant engineers and/or draftman.
The Finishing Engineer should support and assist architects and works supervisors for technical expertise.

3 - SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Finishing Engineer has a strong experience in design, specification and technical supervision for finishings works for airport project or similar mega public projects. You should have a very good knowledge of codes and standards, materials used and fabrication method for finishings. You should also have a solid knowledge of quality procedure.

• As expert, the Finishing Engineer is responsible to:
� Prepare reply or assist technically architects to reply to Request For Information during the preparation period.
� Review tender packages prepared by the main contractor
� Review technical bids
� Review or assist architects for material submittal and shopdrawings approval
� Assist QA/QC for quality document review, assist construction supervisor for methos statement review
� Assist architects for variation notice analysis or variation request preparation
� Assist construction supervisor for expertise during the works
� Assist construction managers for any technical issue occurred during construction
� Provide technical expertise and advice to client or any other ADPi member (Specific issue, dispute with contractorso )
� Represent ADPi for any expertise issue. Ensures training and awareness for specialist
� To take part to coordination and interface issues with other actors


• Finishing Engineer may be responsible to supervise one or several finishing packages. If so, is responsible to:
� Perform and manage supervision tasks for this (or these) package(s)
� Follow-up and report contractor performance for the corresponding scope
� Ensure coordination with others packages in case of technical conflict



4 - DELEGATION


The Finishing Engineer has delegation from the supervision manager to issue:
- Response to RFI
- Approvals for technical documents issued by the contractor,
- Design Instructions within appropriate procedure in case of contractual impact.

This is an urgent requirement for a large international consultancy.
