Reporting to the Facilities Engineer, the role holder will provide support to and deputise for the Facilities Engineer on site. Review, together with the Facilities Engineer, the current methods of operation on site and methodologies employed by, the Client based staff and Subcontractors with a view to suggesting credible and achievable improvements.To provide facilities engineering advice, support and guidance to the client site management teams, staff and building users.
Support the implementation on site of any Asset Life Cycle Management strategies developed by the client and our client. To be the clients initial primary point of contact for all queries from the client and Subcontractors regarding the site(s) on which the job holder is employed. Interface with the centrally located Helpdesk Operators with regards to all issues which are connected to facilities engineering on the site(s). Work, together with the Facilities Engineer and Subcontractors to monitor and report on compliance with best practice policies and procedures for: Facilities Engineering, Health & Safety, Environment and Energy Management and Sustainability.
To manage, together with the Facilities Engineer; the performance, monitoring and supervision of all Subcontractors through SLA's, KPI's and service specifications, inspections and assessments or the work carried out on site by Subcontractors and providing verbal and written input to reports on the same, the relationships between our client and clients/site based client staff ensuring all contractual obligations and expectations are met, the financial data required to forecast the cost of future asset replacement and calculations in support of repair/replace decisions, the maintenance of accurate and well structured records with regards to the facilities engineering work being carried out on site.
To qualify you will have worked within a contracting, facilities or service delivery environment with experience of supervision and administration of planned preventative and reactive maintenance systems. Ideally you will have ideally Arabic but also Indian dialect language skills. You will also posses a degree or similar in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
