Our client, a multinational company involved in the supply of specialised products for the banking industry, is seeking to recruit a IT Executive. Reporting to theFinance Director, you will be responsible for the server administration and the other local IT user administration activities .Your main responsibilities would include

Administrating the network user accounts and mailboxes
Setting up new user's dektops, laptops and printers
Administering the Back up Software, Antivirus Software and maintainence of security and integrity of the network
Keeping an inventory of Hardware and software, sourcing, assisting in purchasing and installing and maintaining new hardware and software
Maintaining the access right for users for shared files and folders
Installing and configuring the Hardware and software approved by the company
Creating and removing employee in E-data
Creating VPN smartcards for remote users
Maintaining Network documentation
Training users on applications
Communicating regularly with the company staff on all aspects of IT
Renewing of VPN and lotus certificates
Assisting the IT and Security Manager in technical fault analysis and troubleshooting
Communicating with the main IT dept for advanced problems
Providing inputs and recommendations for purchase of IT related software and hardware
Ensuring that the employees are following IT security rules laid down by the company
Ensuring that the windows and antivirus automatic updates are done properly
Monitoring and verification of service processes - i.e. backups, patch distribution
Providing technical support to a wide range of internal users
Monitoring and managing network security and alerts
Managing network IP addresses
Undertaking other project works when required.
The ideal candidate should have a Degree from a recognized University with specialization in IT administration and certification from recognised institutions (eg.MCSE,CCNA). You should also have 3-5 years experience in the relevant field in a large multinational organisation and also possess working knowledge on applications like Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office Products, Lotus 7.2 and other similar applications. You should also have exposure to applications like Microsoft Windows Server 2003,TCP IP and LAN, Encryption Software, Firewalls andor Security Solutions and Anti Virus, Network Infrastructure - Switches, Cabling, Cisco Routers etc. To qualify for this role you should be a Effective Communicator with integrity , approachability and excellent decision making skills.
