Our client a leading trading and Investment company based in Abu Dhabi has an urgent requirement for aBusiness Development Managerto lead the efforts to set strategy and the business development process with a view to the development of new business initiatives in line overall strategy..Your responsibilities will be -Monitor the market and identify new business opportunities and targets for acquisition and joint ventures opportunities which are in line overall business strategy Review the current process and activities and highlighting possible synergies, examine intra-group opportunities and reporting results to the GM Conduct a market diagnostic study to highlight new opportunities for business development gathering information concerning supply, demand and competition levels in the region Identifying potential road blocks in acquisitions and joint ventures andnegotiating terms of each proposed business relationship which will include the follow-up with professional advisers, lawyers and other parties involved in the acquisition and new venture transactions Support all new business proposals through sound , fact based analysis to maximise success and highlight best practise marketing , adverting , technology research and promotion planning activities Producing a monthly business development analysis report to the GM to highlight activity.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or business administration and MBAPMP would be advantageous with at least 10 years experience in a salesbusiness development role within the oil and gas industry and good technical background within the oil and gas industry is the must. Solid strategic planning background and highly numerate with the ability to work with lots of data, must be a creative and innovative thinker is required. Highly developed interpersonal, decision making and analytical skills with advanced reporting and problem solving skills are essential.
