Our key client, a multinational pharmaceutical company are looking to appoint a Compliance Officer to join their Senior Management Team. You will act as a source of expert current knowledge of all Compliance programmes, initiate a communication programme that ensures a clear understanding of compliance standards required of individuals conducting high risk activities in the business, chair the Saudi Risk Management and Compliance Board (RMCB), be responsible for reporting risks, issues and best practices, recommend improvements to internal controls and business processes, coordinate with all functions in identifying, developing and implementing quality improvements in response to business requirements, technical changes and company requirements, assess validity of any complaints and take them to logical conclusions, have suitable tracking mechanism to follow-up on pending issues.Minimum three years experience in a managerial responsibility Legal or Finance qualification Previous experience in a Compliance role in pharma companies, is a definite plus Highly self-motivated and self starting Has the "presence" and essential persuasion and influencing skills to work with diversity of senior staff and establish/embed common Codes, Policies, SOPs etc Proven ability to succeed in a challenging environment with demanding time lines Attention to detail, processes and their compliance Has strong commercial acumen, drive, energy and passion for doing the right thing Sound judgment with patience to ensure that the right decisions are made for the right reasons.
