Our client, provides fast-track design-build solutions for the requirements of a varieties of Industries. Their expertise extends to the construction of facilities such as showrooms, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, staging facilities and shopping malls.
They are now looking fo a Senior Business Development Engineer.
Main Duties:
•Assist the Business Development Manager in developing the Business Development plan, budget and market strategy of the Company.
•Leads with the Business Development Manager in organizing technical seminars for clients, consultants, and the market that enhances the Company`s image and position in the market
•Assist in Securing works in new industries (e.g. oil/gas and power/water) to meet strategic objectives.
•Pre-qualifies Amana with clients and consultants as needed for its strategic growth.
•Maintains an accurate picture of the market size and position of the competition.
•Consider creative solutions to tender requirements that would distinguish them from other competitors.
•Coordinates the scope of all parties involved in tendering process and liaise with clients/consultants during tendering.
•Develops and maintains strong relations in the market with consultants, clients, and authorities.
•Attends to customer calls and discussions regarding new inquiries.
•Decides with the Business Development Manager on which quotations to focus on.
•To coordinate/review with operations teams and projects control department to ensure the following:
•Getting the Memorandum of Procedures or generic Method Statements.
•Establish project preliminary schedule.
•Estimating the preliminary requirements.
•Developing the Manpower Histogram and Cash Flow / Project S Curve
•Supports Chief Estimator, Engineering, Planning, and Cost Control functions for any required preliminary designs, Project Schedule and Manpower Schedule
•Supports Chief Estimator and Accounts/Finance Department with respect to bank guarantees and insurance policies as required by the tenders.
•Supports Chief Estimator in the scope of work and tender documents to ensure that all work has been quoted accordingly
•Assist in the negotiations with client/consultant the commercial and technical terms of the tender/contract.
•Provides complete and systematic feedback on lost projects (who, why, by how much) to management
•Responsible for their marketing statistics of his area as well as the data accuracy and integrity of their Tech Business Development Module
•Assist BDM in initiating company press releases and advertisements.
•Assists in the preparation for the kickoff meeting of new jobs and ensuring the proper transition of the job to all the relevant departments in the Company
