Our client is looking for someone immediatly to relocate as a General Manager of the Fuels Division of their company camp inAfganistan. The successful candidate will be from a Inventory Management back ground with at least 10 years experience in fuels operation and fuels accounting.It would be an advantage if you remote site experience in a similar enviroment and it is preferred if you havea Military back ground.

Prime Objective:
Proper accountability, with full transparency and supporting documentation, of all Fuels and Fuel Commodities within each Area of Responsibility.
Key Tasks:
" Manage the Inventory of Fuels and Fuel Commodities.
" Oversee the receipt and reconciling of external and internal invoices and ensure that all documentation is received and processed.
" Investigate and manage incidents and issues by providing root cause analysis and results. Advising management of any change in processes.
" Ensure that the Fuels Accounting and Reporting is carried out in compliance with all relevant contracts, laws, industry standards, best business practices and established company policies.
" Timely reporting on Fuels and Fuel Commodities on-hand, issued and received.
" Develop and maintain timely daily, weekly and monthly reporting on inventory levels based against targets.
" Produce concise and clear management reporting and provide regular, timely updates on activity and inventory, including delays or deviations from plan.
" Develop and manage a full suite of reports and reporting tools which are in place, and being developed, for the Fuels Inventory Section.
" Develop reporting focused on achieving optimum performance and accuracy in accountability for fuels and fuel commodities.
" Develop benchmarking and performance measuring tools and apply these tools to the business.
" Develop, document and register business processes as required.
" Provide detailed analysis of operational processes and performances and provide suggestions to management on how best to minimize variances.
" Identify potential trouble areas and take all necessary actions to minimize negative impact on business.
" Actively provide proposals and solutions for new and on-going inventory issues.
" Visit other 'in theater' locations, on a regular basis, to inspect operations and ensure that the agreed procedures are in place.
