Our client is looking for someone immediatly to relocate as a General Manager of the Fuels Division of their company camp inAfganistan. The successful candidate will be from a Camp Management back ground. It would be an advantage if you remote site experience in a similar enviroment and it is essential thatyou have a Military back ground.

Internal: GM, All Department Managers, key staff from Fuels Departments, Other Supreme Business Units key staff.
Prime Objective:
To manage the day to day running of the FWC Compound.
Key Tasks:
Communications
" Manage the passage of communications and information from all resident BU, Contractors and Support units on all matters relating to Camp infrastructure, services and life support.
" Conflict resolution .
Leadership
" Manage the Camp infrastructure and service support personnel .
" Establish and maintain a working relationship with all resident stakeholders.
" Participate in team activities and meetings for the achievement of organisational goals.
" Ensure that QHSE standards and conditions are meet and maintained.
" Provide direction to enhance operational cohesion through development of MWR initiatives, ensuring food and shelter is maintained at the highest levels.
" Provide over watch and direction to essential Health and safety personnel.
" Ensure the highest Environmental standards are maintained and initiatives are developed.
" Provide the Service support Teams with training and development opportunities to enhance themselves personally and professionally.
Management
" Manage the Camp Infrastructure.
" Manage the MWR initiative.
" Manage the maintenance and running of essential life support services.
" Manage the throughput of personnel accommodated in the FWC.
" Manage the financial aspects of the Camp support services in consultation with the Fuels Finance Manager.
" Manage the Camp Accommodation plan with resident Admin Managers.
" Manage the preparation of detailed briefs for resident personnel
" Manage customer expectations.
" Be prepared to assume the role of Senior Management.
" All other tasks as directed.

Education: minimum of a Bachelors Degree/Management Diploma and Civilian/Military Career Courses (promotion courses, Corps specific courses, Management courses)
Experience: Strong work history in a Commercial or Military field (Hospitality, Logistics, technical)
