Renouned hospitality business is currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager. The job holder will be responsible forTo partner the business streams in ensuring that sales and contribution are optimized and effectively managed. The post holder will provide strong commercial and financial advice on margin management, capital investment and other operational issues as well as ensuring that the senior management team is appropriately communicated with on actual and forecast performance.AccountabilitiesContribute to the formulation of Corporate Strategy by developing medium to long-term operational (including capital expenditure) forecasts and leading the Group's annual strategic planning and budgeting processManagement of Board Reporting and forecasting for the operational aspects of the business, including management of operations risks and opportunitiesDevelop 'objectives-based' system and process enhancements to enable more effective day-to-day management of business profitabilityFostering strong relationships with business units by establishing a customer service culture within the Commercial Finance TeamPartner the back-office accounting team to ensure all reporting is effectively managed and accounting disciplines are maintainedSupport New Product introductions and evaluation of new business venturesPlay a lead role in coaching the finance and operational teams (including management) to become more financially competent in their approach to business decisionsLead the commercial finance function. The post holder will ensure that performance objectives are set and individual development plans are achieved.Challenge existing modus operandi, questioning processes and structures which are currently embedded in the Company culture.The candidate must have experience within the hospitality industry, with a good understanding of food and beverage costing.Chartered Accountant - ACA or CPA in addition to recognized University Degree5 + years financial, commercial and market experience in accountinganalytical roles with relevant industrial sector experience and experience of managing teams.Must have experience of- Business Performance evaluation- Budgeting and Forecasting for multiple business unitsGood internalexternal communicator being able to build strong relationships, influencing and presenting at a senior level
