Functional Responsibilities Retail, precious stone sourcing, diamond jewelry fabrication.
Core Strengths
Retail distribution
Diamond Jewelry distribution and sourcing.
Sell-out techniques to end consumers (window displays, store merchandising, sales training, store animation, appropriate stock levels).
Inventory rotation and management.
Shrinkage control
P and L responsibility in diamond jewelry wholesale or retail distribution in the middle east.
Understanding of diamond jewelry regional trends and demand.
Track record of growing diamond jewelry retail distribution profitably.
Expected Undertakings
Develop short term retail strategy in line with corporate strategy.
Develop a detailed forecast and action plan.
Recruit train and retain store managers and salesmen.
Rationalize existing retail network and turn around retail operations.
Rationalize excess and non-moving stock of diamond jewelry.
Manage the sourcing of diamond and third party jewelry fabrication
Supervise in-house precious stone jewelry fabrication
Develop mid term retail strategy and brandproduct positioning.
Contribute to the elaboration of a new store concept.
Secure new locations and roll out new store concept to build a regional anchor store network (20-30 POS).
Follow up and improve retail performance in preparation for an IPO and a full fledge retail roll out. (100-150 POS).
