Our client, a high profile company based in Dubai is urgently seeking to recruit IT Executive, responsible for Server Administration (File Servers, Lotus Notes Server, Back-up Server); Local IT User Administration; Implementation of and Compliance to IT Security Standards.The Role:
- Administration of network user accounts and mailboxes
- Maintaining the access right for users for shared files and folders
- Installation and configuration of Hardware and software approved by the company
- Inventory of Hardware and software
- Creating and removing employee E-data
- Creating VPN smartcards for remote users
- Renewing of VPN and lotus certificates
- Assisting the IT & Security Manager in technical fault analysis and troubleshooting
- Communicating with Munich (in Germany) IT Department for advanced problems
- Provide inputs and recommendations for purchase of IT related software and hardware
- Ensure employees are following IT security rules of the company
- Ensure the windows and antivirus automatic updates are done properly
- Monitoring and verification of service processes â?? i.e. back-ups, patch distribution
- Providing technical support to a wide range of internal users
- Monitoring network security and alerts
- Managing network IP addresses
- Undertaking other project works when required
Requirements:
- Degree from a recognized University with specialization in IT Administration
- 6 to 12 years experience in the relevant field in a large organization
- Working knowledge of the following technologies: Microsoft Windows XP / Microsoft Office / Lotus 7.2
- Exposure to: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 / Encryption Software / Firewalls and, or Security Solutions and Anti-Virus/Network Infrastructure â?? Switches, Cabling / Cisco Routers
