Our client, a high profile company based in Dubai is urgently seeking to recruit Legal Executive.Scope:
- Process Owner and Contract Manager for Sales partners
- Process Owner of Company Risk Assessment (Operative and Strategic)
- To perform Legal Research and summarise legal informationThe Role:
- To provide legal assistance on issue of all kinds of contracts and agreement, from initial draft • execution, with the company (Sales, Purchase, Service, etc.)
- To monitor contracts through the contracting cycle, liaising with relevant staff, and maintaining a contracts database
- To perform Risk Assessment (both operative & strategic) related to business and to review and challenge output and escalate issues as appropriate
- To provide advice, guidance, training and subject matter to expertise on Operational risks
- Legal check and risk assessment of tenders and external imposed contracts, which are non-compliance with the company standards
- Legal assistant for legal disputes related to the company HR
- Coordination of activities with local lawyers and legal department of mother company
- Coordinate with the Labor Department regarding labour issues
- To perform legal research and summarise legal information beneficial for the company and staff
- Providing clerical support in Legal Affairs including updating the legal files and maintaining the legal library
- Liaising with the customers to reach settlement agreement
- Advising on necessary action to be taken to avoid legal disputes
- Assistance to the Financial Director with diary maintenance, arranging meetings and other administrative duties
- Other duties and special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Law from a recognized University
- Minimum of 4 years experience in legal and contracting environment
- Well-versed in UAE Labour Law
- Secretarial skills & IT basic applications: MS Office, Internet, Emails, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Fluent in English communication skills.
- Fluency in French or in German languages
- Strong administration skills, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines and good attention to detail
