My client are a global market leader within medical device and medical equipment manufacturing. They are major brand within their field and have been established in the middle east for over 15 years.

They now have a critical senior appointment to launch a cutting edge product area - diabetes care in KSA and develop a strategic operational and marketing plan to drive the business forward into an emerging market.

Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager for the GCC, you will in effect have complete reponsibility for the Diabetes care business in Saudi. You will develop a regional business strategy and lead development and execution of the sales, marketing and operational plans to accelerate and drive sales and income growth.

You will be business and marketing planning as well as being 'hands-on' in selling and motivating distributors and your sales force.

The business is very much driven through a combination of retail marketing campaigns, developing relationships with key opinion leaders and distributors and institutions.

You will relish the challenge of working for a global leader and developing a new product area in an emerging market.

In order to be considered for this role you will have to meet the following;

- be degree qualified with either a medical background or business/economics
- Be a well-accomplished and senior sales and marketing manager who has worked in either FMCG, consumer goods or pharma field.
- You must have existing GCC experience, but not neccesarily Saudi.
- Fluency in arabic is highly desirable.
- You will be a proven business developer who excels in developing relationships with distributors and key clients.
- You will have a mature yet energetic personality and be excited by the challenge of developing an entire new region, in an autonomous role.
