Our client is a specialist contractor belonging to a large group of companies. They have been active for over 30 years.

Your experience will encompass all aspects of Quantity Surveying, Cost Management and Commercial Management as you will be responsible for all Pre and Post contract works on Oil and Gas projects (accommodation modules)

Your main areas of responsibility will include overseeing the preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation, post tender negotiations, preparation of interim valuations, cash flow forecasting and applying commercial acumen to protect the company from unprofitable contracts and counterclaims, dealing with such claims as they arise to minimize the impact on company profitability. You will also be responsible for managing a team of QS’s and Estimators, so you must posses good management and motivational skills as well possessing strong client facing and negotiation skills as you will be the main interface with clients. You will also be a be hands on person as you will be involved in daily QS/Commercial activities.

To qualify for this role you will have a minimum of 8 - 12 years experience, posses a recognised university degree and ideally have prior experience of Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management in the Oil and Gas industry. You will have very strong contractual know how and have previous claims experience, again ideally in the Oil and Gas industry.

Package: AED 31k – 33k pm (Basic Salary and Accommodation Allowance) + utilities + Transport Allowance + Fuel + Salik + Schooling + family benefits
