Our client, a multinational oil and gas company, is currently seeking to recruit a Public and Government Affairs Analyst for their office in Dubai Media City.
The position will be under Contract Staffing with Manpower for an initial period of 1 year and renewable.
The role of the PandGA Analyst is to oversee all administrative and coordination aspects of the Local Country Manager (LCM) and PandGA operations in the Dubai-based company offices with the Local Country Manager guidance, or guidance from the LCM's designated subordinates. All work conducted by the PandGA Advisor on behalf of the company will be deemed confidential, and the Contracting Agency will have no access to written (hardcopysoft copy) or verbal information, and will not be able to task or divert the PandGA Analyst from the company-related work.
The primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to
Develop and implement PandA plans to facilitate achievement of business goals
Manages the official travel and expense accounts of the LCM and the Dubai-based PandGA Team
Oversees the planning and execution of official representational functions for the LCM and Dubai-based PandGA Team
Develops, computerizes, and updates the contact data base for the office of the LCM and the PandGA Team
Identifies, interviews, and recommends for hiring candidates for administrative and managerial assistant positions in the office of the LCM, in Dubai, in Basra, and in Baghadad
Oversees the day-to-day management of correspondence of the office of the LCM
As required, travels to Basra and Baghdad to oversee and train locally hired administrative assistants.
Key deliverables for this role are as follows
Effective administrative plans, processes and procedures
Effective, highly accurate bi-lingual official correspondence (EnglishArabic)
Effective support to media monitoring and event planning and execution
Effective oversight and professional development of Iraqi administrative staff
Effective implementation of PandGA Iraq weekly reporting, staff expense accounting, travel management and other reporting requirements
Effective development of internal PandGA and intra-company communication mechanisms
Support to Field Oil Division (FOD) administrative development.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree from accredited university in a relevant subject area
Minimum 5 years in PandGA or related field
Extensive and broad knowledge of Middle Eastern professional and social practicescustoms
Minimum of working level fluency in spokenwritten English and Arabic.
