One of the leading furniture company wants to recruit Production Manager. The main role are: Define and cascade manufacturing unit metrics in line with companyâ??s business strategy Define budgets and cost structure for manufacturing unit, including capex, working capital, cash flows and product mix Define and achieve financial metrics of profitability, productivity, cost optimization and capacity utilization Initiate and implement best practices in quality management and plant management e.g. Six Sigma, Lean Production and Value Engineering etc. Create, define, oversee various committees and work groups to enhance teamwork and coordination Approve departmental budgets, plans, resource requirements and broad roles Explore strategic opportunities to enhance manufacturing presence and productivity in line with global benchmarks Commission surveys and studies to understand customer satisfaction, manufacturing practices and implement findings Oversee the operations of the manufacturing unit Interact regularly with key customer to understand opportunities and concerns Recruit, manage and motivate all manufacturing staff Only males are allowed to apply. Experience in managing manufacturing as well as site work. Sound knowledge on local political and social issues.
