The ideal candidate will have the following duties:
1. Meeting the account management team to discuss client requirements and product background;
2. Brainstorming ideas and concepts;
3. Working in a close-knit creative partnership with the art director to generate workable concepts and ideas;
4. Writing clear, persuasive, original copy;
5. Submitting ideas and discussing progress with the creative director before making presentations to clients;
6. Amending, revising or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director or clients;
7. Working on several campaigns at once, under pressure and to tight deadlines;
8. Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar;
9. Overseeing campaigns through the production stage to completion;
10. Casting actors for TV and radio work, listening to voice tapes;
11. Liaising with production companies, photographers, typographers, designers and printers;
12. Keeping up to date with popular culture and trends;
13. Advising intending creatives and reviewing their portfolios ('books').
