Requirements

1. Degree qualification with Professional Membership of reputable Institution

2. Experience in Project/Design Management with proven ability to effectively manage multi-disciplinary project teams and projects with significant commercial awareness, acumen and experience

3. Able to solve problems by thinking laterally and able to understand the needs and requirements that arise when providing solutions in a developing country to a high degree of integrity and standard

4. Experience in liaising with consultants and contractors

5. Resource planning, cash flow forecasting and project control

6. Must be familiar with design, tender and construction procedures

7. Ability to utilise Microsoft Office suite of products

Responsibilities

1. Overall management of the project

2. Preparation of the project brief and project quality plan

3. Establish project scope and objectives

4. Preparation of progress reports

5. Oversee the tender and contract award

6. Preparation and maintenance of the project programme with the Project Planner

7. Organise and implement presentation of designs to the Client

8. Preparation and maintenance of programme for design review and ensuring it's implementation

9. Financial management of the project

10. Identify and manage project specific risks

11. Cost reporting to the Client

12. Set out / agree design standards and parameters

13. Monitoring quality of the work

14. Preparation of design changes

15. Appointment and management of all required sub-consultants or other services

16. Technical co-ordination with discipline heads

Salary: US$13,500 + benefits per month
