Agreement will see Landmark Group occupy a total retail area close to 200,000 square feet within Reem Mall
Retail and hospitality conglomerate Landmark Group has signed a tenant agreement to open 23 new stores at Reem Mall, Abu Dhabi.
The new stores will open in the two million square feet mall, located on Reem Island, in 2018, Landmark Group said.
As part of the agreement, Landmark Group will open its own brands Centrepoint, Home Centre, Max, Iconic, Sports One and Shoexpress, as well as the group’s popular franchise brands such as New Look, Reiss, Adidas Kids, Ecco, Koton, Yours London, Lipsy and Steve Madden to Abu Dhabi.
The agreement will see Landmark Group occupy a total retail area close to 200,000 square feet within Reem Mall, spread throughout the $1 billion project.

Reem Mall will house 450 stores including 85 food and beverage outlets as well as edutainment and entertainment anchors. Reem Mall, developed by NREC and UPAC began construction in 2015 and is expected to open in 2018.
In addition to leading international and regional retail and restaurant brands, the mall will also house a wide range of entertainment options including the world’s largest indoor snow-play park.
