Chopard, along with partner Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, has launched a 20-piece, limited edition watch inspired by the UAE’s desert.

LUC Time Traveler One – Time of the Desert, features a sand colour dial evoking the golden dunes of the country. The complication wrist watch indicates the time anywhere in the world. It was made for the Emirati traveller who wishes to keep up with several time zones at once.

Available in stainless steel, it features brown accents and transfers and comes with a dark brown alligator leather strap. Furthermore, it has a 42 mm case, 12.09 mm thickness and alternating satin-brushed and polished finishes.

Despite being a complex watch with a calibre developed and produced entirely by Chopard, it is also user-friendly, having a self-winding movement with a 60-hour power reserve, also guaranteeing that it will run reliably.

Chopard revealed the new watch in line with its first Chopard Classic Rally in Dubai, a two-day competitive regularity rally set to take place on November 10 and 11. The event will see thirty teams leave from Dubai in their classic automobiles to drive along some of the UAE’s scenic deserts, mountains and roads.
