A communications professional by background, British-educated Helen Al Uzaizi worked on behalf of brands including Porsche, LG Electronics, Audi, EMAAR International, Royal Jordanian, and Zain Telecom. After almost a decade of agency experience, she moved into the field of community development, serving as the international relations and fundraising manager for the Jordan River Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation chaired by Queen Rania of Jordan.
Al Uzaizi was particularly interested in youth entrepreneurship and was appointed CEO of the UK-headquartered Mowgli Foundation in Dubai, which provides support and mentoring to aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders. During her tenure she won the Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Young Business Leaders on behalf of the foundation, which was named the Best Mentor Network in the Arab World. She later used her experience to found Future Entrepreneurs, an entrepreneurship education platform for children as young as seven, while also becoming CEO of the BizWorld leadership network in the UAE and Jordan. A member of the Young Arab Leaders network, Al Uzaizi is also a triathlete and has completed Ironman 70.3 and the Dubai Marathon.
