The Middle East is not known to be at the forefront of the Bitcoin revolution, but this Jordanian entrepreneur is looking to change that. Ola Doudin bought her first-ever Bitcoin in 2013 and just saw potential. One year later she founded the Dubai-based startup BitOasis, an online wallet and exchange that’s available across the Middle East, North Africa and Asia, and the first to use multi-signature technology to protect your digital assets. She believes it will enable a new generation of fintech startups to provide services cheaper, faster and more efficiently.
