“Governments must not be afraid of free thinkers,” Soraya Salti once told the World Economic Forum. The statement reflects her work to train Middle Eastern youth to become entrepreneurs and take their futures into their own hands, at a time when youth unemployment rates are sky high. Salti leads Injaz Al Arab, bringing entrepreneurial skills to students still in high school. She has been recognised with a Skoll Foundation Award, and won the 2006 Schwab Social Entrepreneur of the Year for Jordan.
