The Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa Jumeirah Beach, Dubai will be renovated in 2013.
The hotel’s guest rooms and F&B will undergo refurbishment, including popular English bar The Undground Pub, according to the property’s new director of business development.
“This paired with a general refresh across the board will add to guest experience,” Nicolas Villemin told Hotelier Middle East.
The five-star Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa Jumeirah Beach comprises of 446 rooms and suites and operates 14 F&B venues.
Al Habtoor in January unveiled plans to demolish one of Dubai’s oldest hotels and redevelop the area into a tourism complex.
The firm said it would knock down the 34-year old Metropolitan Hotel and build three luxury hotels and a string of tourist attractions, including a theatre to stage Broadway-style shows.
