Grammy award winners Muse have been revealed as the headline act during the Abu Dhabi Formula One after-race concerts in November.
Arab superstars Amr Diab, Hussain Al Jassmi and Elissa will perform at the opening night on Thursday October 31 and UK electronic band Depeche Mode will perform at the finale on Sunday November 3.
The November 1 lineup will not be announced until later in the year.
The four-night Yasalam concert series is the largest city-wide entertainment programme run by a F1 host city.
Muse is a rock group renowned for its “highly theatrical, energetic, extravagant performances” and fusion of music genres including progressive rock, alternative rock, heavy metal, classical music and electronic, a statement from Flash Entertainment, which is organizing the concert, says.
The UK-based group is expected to perform a selection of hits from their six albums, including Hysteria, Time is Running Out, Uprising, Madness and Supremacy.
