Nominations open for StartUp Awards 2014

The annual awards takes place on 26 November, recognising the finest start-ups, SMEs and entrepreneurs

The nomination process for the StartUp Awards 2014 is now open, inviting the region’s UAE’s finest start-ups, SMEs and entrepreneurs to be part of the annual celebration.

The event, due to take place at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Resort and Marina on Wednesday 26 November, will recognise the best of the Emirates’ new and small business, as well as those who help turn entrepreneurs’ ideas into reality.

Awards will be presented to the winners of 12 categories: Start-Up of the Year; SME of the Year; Entrepreneur of the Year; Women in Business Award; SME Leader of the Year; Young Entrepreneur of the Year; Mentor of the Year; Start-up Programme of the Year; Innovation of the Year; SME Bank of the Year; Incubator/Accelerator of the Year; Digital Business of the Year.

To submit your nomination, please visit the awards website here www.arabianbusiness.com/startup-awards and explain in 500 words or less why the nominee deserves to win the award.

The nomination process will close on Wednesday, 19 November, whereupon an editorial panel will discuss entrants and select a winner for each category.

The website also allows you to book seats or tables (10 seats), as well as providing information for those wishing to sponsor the event.
