SalamAir has launched ticket sales for its flights between Salalah and Muscat and flights from Muscat to Dubai.

SalamAir will launch its service to Salalah on January 30, and to Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport on February 15.

The airline has a fleet of three Airbus A320s and will be based in Muscat, with a secondary hub at Salalah airport.

The budget carrier has introduced three fare options: Light, the airline’s lowest fare designed for customers who only require hand baggage, Friendly, which includes 20kg of checked luggage plus 7kg of hand baggage, and Flexi, offering the same as Friendly, along with priority check-in and the possibility to change flights at no extra cost.

“Our competitive price structure makes it possible for tourism, leisure and business passengers alike to take journeys more frequently, giving them the chance to experience more,” said SalamAir chairman Khalid Al Yahmadi.

Scheduled services will begin with four daily flights to Salalah and two to Dubai's Al Maktourm International Airport at DWC.
