Living on the Palm used to be a realistic aim for only the super-rich of the Gulf. But today, with prices halved from last year, the dream lifestyle is in range of more mortal executives. A 6-bedroom Mediterranean style villa on Frond D is advertised for just over $3.5 million, and buyers could do better than that with a bit of haggling.
