Jumeirah Group has opened its first property in Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.

The luxury hotel boasts 382 rooms and 199 serviced residences, and will eventually have 12 restaurants.

The luxury hotelier, which competes with brands such as Mandarin Oriental or Four Seasons, recently opened brand-managed hotels in Frankfurt, the Maldives and Shanghai.

Jumeirah Group already has an extensive portfolio of properties in Dubai, such as the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
